DIADA’

Born in Italy, 1975. I started taking pictures in 2007 and I keep doing so both because someone trusted my images back when I barely knew what a camera was and because I hardly sleep at night.
I shoot human beings because I love their inner instincts, the ones that emerge from the mask we have to wear everyday.
I shoot the things that if communicated aloud with our voices and not with Photography could destabilize the ruling anthropocentrism.
I shoot the incoherence of human beings trying to repudiate their animality.
I shoot animals because I love their spontaneity.
I shoot nature because of its silence, peace, power.
Someone once said, looking at my images: it is like being in a nightmare you wish it never ends.
